    Capitol Hill Pages

Collin Parkinson of Durant and John White of West recently served as pages for the Mississippi House of Representatives. Collin is the son of Jeff and Juanita Parkinson and John is the son of Jason and Jolynn White. The boys spent their week running errands for officials and House staff. Collin (holding gavel) and John are pictured here with Speaker of the House Philip Gunn and Representative Jason White. When asked about the week, Collin said, "Being a page was an awesome experience. I loved being with the other pages and enjoyed talking to the Representatives. Everyone was very nice." John agreed, "I enjoyed my week at the Capitol," he said. "I also enjoyed meeting other pages from all over the state. I would love to do it again."
